Silver Nursing Cups for Use Between Feeds

Silver nursing cups are small reusable shields worn inside your bra between feeds, designed to protect tender or healing nipples from rubbing on fabric while the skin settles. The pair we stock, the SRC Silver Nursing Cups (ARTG 469791), rinse clean in warm water and go straight back in. Many mums start wearing them in hospital during the latch-heavy first days. If feeding itself hurts, or nipples are cracked or bleeding, ask a midwife or lactation consultant to check your latch. The cups protect skin between feeds; they're not a substitute for that support.

Reusable Breast Ice and Heat Packs

These reusable gel packs from Bubba Bump (ARTG 374111) are shaped to sit over the breast and are designed to help manage the discomfort of engorgement while your supply settles. Many mums keep one chilled for after feeds, when breasts feel heavy and full, and gently warm another before a feed for comfort. Wrap the Breast Ice & Heat Packs in a thin cloth rather than icing bare skin. The same packs are shaped for the perineum as well, so they keep earning their place in early postpartum recovery once the engorgement stage passes.

The Breastfeeding Tea Co: Teas, Hot Chocolate & Drinks

The Breastfeeding Tea Co is an Australian brand making caffeine-free herbal tea blends for breastfeeding mums. The signature Lactation Tea skips fenugreek, an ingredient some mums prefer to avoid, and blends herbs like nettle, lemongrass, hibiscus and rosehip instead. The Lactation Hot Chocolate with collagen is the wind-down option for night feeds. We sell both as enjoyable drinks — not medicines. If milk supply is on your mind, a lactation consultant is the right first call, and the FAQ below covers what the evidence says.

Part of a Physio-Led Postpartum Range

Blossom Pelvic Health was founded by a physiotherapist focused on pelvic health, so the breastfeeding shelf sits inside a wider postpartum catalogue built the way a clinician would set it up. If you're building a kit before baby arrives, postpartum recovery products cover the whole fourth trimester, vaginal birth recovery gathers peri bottles, wipes and perineal care, and c-section recovery products cover compression shorts and scar-area care. Everything ships in discreet packaging Australia-wide. If an item arrives faulty, we sort it out under Australian Consumer Law.

Breastfeeding product questions answered

Latch and positioning are the most common causes, so a midwife or lactation consultant is the best first step. Between feeds, many mums wear silver cups to stop tender skin rubbing on fabric. If nipples are cracked or bleeding, or pain continues, see your GP.

There is no strong clinical evidence that herbal teas increase milk supply, and we don't sell them as medicines. Most mums drink them as a warm, caffeine-free ritual during feeds. If supply worries you, frequent effective feeding and a lactation consultant's assessment make the practical difference.

Many mums rotate six to eight pairs, which keeps fresh pads on hand between washes. The bamboo pads in this collection come as a 14-pack, enough for a typical rotation with spares in the nappy bag. Leaking usually eases as your supply regulates over the first months.

Rinse them in warm water, dry with a soft cloth and pop them back in your bra. Skip abrasive scourers, which can scratch the silver. Take the cups off for every feed, and give your nipples some open-air time each day so skin doesn't stay damp.

Promptly, if you notice a red, hot, painful area, a fever or flu-like symptoms: those need a GP's assessment, sometimes the same day. For latch or positioning help, book a midwife or lactation consultant, or call the Australian Breastfeeding Association helpline on 1800 686 268.

Usually, in normal amounts, but herbs do pass into breast milk in small quantities, so check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take medication or have a health condition. The teas here are caffeine-free and list every ingredient, which makes that conversation easier.

Because of the intimate nature of these products, we don't accept change-of-mind returns. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, email hello@blossompelvichealth.com.au and we'll look after you. Some items, like SRC garments, have specific exceptions; the full detail is in our returns policy.
